XXXX XXXX XXXX is out of business yet is still reporting a false account on my credit reports. They are reporting a balance of {$1500.00} and listing XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) as the original creditor. XXXX has confirmed in writing that the account was never sold, remains with them as a charge-off, and the true balance is {$1200.00}. XXXX also confirmed that XXXX XXXX XXXX was never authorized to report or collect on this account. This makes the reporting inaccurate under FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( A ), which requires furnishers to report with maximum possible accuracy, and a false representation of authority under FDCPA 807 ( 2 ) ( A ). The Better Business Bureau has also informed me that XXXX XXXX XXXX could not be contacted for verification because the company is out of business, and I have attached that correspondence. This is a fraudulent and deceptive tradeline that is causing harm to me as a consumer. I am demanding immediate deletion of this account from all credit reports and requesting CFPB investigation into XXXX XXXX XXXX unlawful reporting practices
