( XXXX ) has inaccurately reported late payments on my account. Furthermore, they have failed to provide proper verification of these late payments as required under federal law. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) : FCRA 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681g ( a ) ( 1 ) ) I have the legal right to request any and all documentation that was used to verify this late payment. If you can not produce a signed agreement and original billing records, this late payment must be removed immediately per federal law. FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ) You are legally required to reinvestigate and delete inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated information from my report. FCRA 623 ( b ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) ) The creditor must conduct a reasonable investigation upon dispute. Failure to verify with proper documentation within 30 days means this late payment must be deleted. Despite my attempts to resolve this issue, the inaccurate information remains. This violation of the FCRA has caused significant harm to my credit standing and must be rectified immediately. Please find attached a copy of my credit report highlighting the inaccuracies.
