The company is mishandling insurance and GAP payments made on my account, and as a result, they are attempting to collect money I do not owe. Details of the Issue : - On XX/XX/year>, my auto insurance company paid {$16000.00} toward my loan balance. This payment was later marked as a reversal on XX/XX/year> without explanation. - On XX/XX/year>, my GAP insurance paid {$5000.00}. This was also reversed instead of being properly applied. - After both payments, my account correctly reflected a remaining balance of {$4900.00}. - Shortly after, the lenders system changed my balance back to {$21000.00} and began billing me a past due amount of {$1200.00} {$1200.00}. - They also assessed late fees, despite the account being covered by insurance and GAP.
