Consumer Narrative

I am submitting this formal feedback to reject TransUnions response as incomplete, misleading, and legally deficient under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). While TransUnion claims to have taken action, their response was vague, avoided all accountability for the violations I outlined, and failed to : Acknowledge the false 1 account ever late reporting, which remains entirely unsupported by any open or closed tradeline on my report ; Provide a method of verification or documentary evidence supporting either of the dismissed bankruptcies especially when the U.S. Bankruptcy Court ( XXXX ) has already confirmed in writing that they do not report any information to credit bureaus ; Identify which bankruptcy was deleted and which was merely updated, leaving me in the dark as to whether any harmfully inaccurate data remains ; Clarify what non-monetary relief was actually granted, and whether full compliance with FCRA 1681e ( b ), 1681k, and Metro-2 guidelines was achieved. TransUnion has violated : FCRA 1681e ( b ) by failing to maintain maximum possible accuracy of public record and account data ; FCRA 1681k by reporting adverse public record information without proper procedures for accuracy and consumer notice ; FCRA 1681i by failing to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation or provide any usable explanation of their findings ; Metro-2 Compliance by continuing to reflect 1 account ever late without any corresponding tradeline in the file, a flagrant contradiction of industry-standard reporting format. This type of lazy, opaque, and non-transparent response undermines consumer rights and CFPB enforcement integrity. I submitted clear evidence showing there was : No valid basis for the late payment designation ; No active or discharged bankruptcy ; And affirmative proof that the bankruptcy court has no communication with credit bureaus. TransUnion had the opportunity to delete both dismissed bankruptcies and correct the late account status entirely. Instead, they gave a half-answer : one deletion, one update, and no mention of the phantom late payment status. I demand this complaint be reopened and re-investigated, and that TransUnion be compelled to : Permanently delete all remaining dismissed bankruptcies ; Remove the inaccurate 1 account ever late field ; Provide written method of verification and source documentation used for their investigation ; Be evaluated for enforcement actions for willful FCRA violations. This case is not resolved. My consumer rights under federal law have not been honored.
