Subject : Complaint Against XXXX XXXXXXXX FCRA Violations and Failure to Provide 1099-C To Whom It May Concern, I am filing this complaint against XXXX XXXX for repeated violations of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and federal tax reporting laws. This complaint involves the following accounts : Account # XXXX Charge-off amount : {$6200.00} Account # XXXX Charge-off amount : {$5500.00} Violations : Failure to Provide IRS Form XXXX I have submitted XXXX written requests to XXXX XXXX for issuance of a Form XXXX relating to the above accounts. To date, XXXX XXXX has refused to comply. If these debts were canceled or otherwise meet a reportable event, a XXXX is required under 26 C.F.R. 1.6050P-1. Manipulation of Credit Reporting XXXX XXXX continues to report these accounts as charge-offs month after month, despite the fact that the last activity occurred more than 24 months ago. This practice is inaccurate, misleading, and unlawful, violating 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ), which requires furnishers to report complete and accurate information and update records to prevent misleading reporting. This behavior is causing severe harm to my creditworthiness and constitutes a form of double jeopardy reporting, as XXXX XXXX is artificially extending derogatory activity beyond what is accurate.
