This is a formally disputing of several fraudulent items on my credit report that are the result of identity theft. Upon obtaining a recent copy of my credit report, I discovered unauthorized fraudulent accounts, personal information and credit inquiries that do not belong to me. Enclosed with this letter are the documents supporting my claim, including a Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) identity theft report. Please note that the FTC identity theft report is legit and accurately reflects the identity theft incident. I request that you do not question its authenticity and use it as grounds to delay investigating and removing these fraudulent items from my credit report. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically sections 605B 1681C-2 and 611 1681E, you are legally required to BLOCK AND REMOVE the fraudulent information from my credit report within four business days. ON These sections mandate your obligations as a credit reporting agency to protect consumers in cases of identity theft and to promptly investigate and eliminate unauthorized fraudulent information
