Consumer Narrative
I was not properly notified that the SAVE act was no longer in effect after years of deferred payments and promised payment deferrals during Covid. Because of this initial promises, we were instructed to pause payments. New sources then notified that the SAVE act was in effect and extended the deferred payment period. Suddenly it was lifted and we were not notified of this change. I only saw messages on the inbrowser login through XXXX, no other form of communication. I saw the derogatory mark against my credit score in XXXX. I caught my account back up to current due to this and then once again, I saw my credit score take another hit. I do not understand why my credit score was affected twice, when it should not have been affected in the first place. Can the parties assisting in this matter, help me rectify and reverse the mark on my account as well as correct the score on my credit score? Knowing all of this, I contacted XXXX with this information via email on their website. I received no reply or confirmation of receipt. I will also be calling the services but am not hopeful considering that I am not even sure if my email was received. To summarize, I have all intentions and ability to repay the loan. No intentions of delayed payment ; just following what was recommended due to global and local circumstances. Payment has been made to bring myself current and situated where all forward payments will be handled automatically Thank you
