I recently found out through an Experian report that someone stole my identity and opened an auto loan in XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX and they sent me an Identity Theft Affidavit. I reported it to Identitytheft.gov and followed the steps. XXXX confirmed that XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX CA XXXX stole my identity and opened an auto loan through XXXX. She got a XXXX XXXX XXXX and the account number is XXXX. I have been on and off the phone with XXXX, they keep passing me from Customer service department to finance to fraud. They won't take my social off the account and will not send me a confirmation letter that they've fixed it. XXXX according to Experian had been delinquent on 3 payments and it's hurting my credit and have made it so that the places we've applied to rent have declined us. Through this process she was delinquent again in XX/XX/XXXX make 4 months delinquent and its hurting my credit and chances of renting. Help.
