XX/XX/XXXX Chime froze my account for alleged fraud. They requested I submit documentation proving my identity. Each time they asked for additional documentation. Once my identity was confirmed they asked for proof of residence. Then bank statements, then a letter from the bank, then a utility bill. So far Ive provided my drivers license, passport, a copy of my lease, two different utility bills, multiple bank statements, a letter from the bank confirming they are my bank statements and more. Chime has refused to reactivate my account and refused to release my funds. Each time claiming they need more information. This has been going on since XXXX and is still not resolved. Their policies are unreasonable and predatory. Tonight XX/XX/XXXX customer service said they can no longer do anything and hung up on me and online customer service failed to complete any progress on my account. I will be taking legal action.
