Re : Aggressive Dispute of Inaccurate Late Payment Reporting Creditor : XXXX XXXX Account No. XXXX To Whom It May Concern, I am demanding the immediate deletion of an inaccurate late payment being reported on my credit file for the above XXXX XXXX account. Background : Account Opened : XX/XX/XXXX Original Balance : {$410.00} Status : Paid in full and closed as of XX/XX/XXXX Disputed Reporting : A single 30-day late payment in XX/XX/XXXX Legal Grounds for Dispute : 1. FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) A furnisher can not report information that is inaccurate or misleading. Reporting a derogatory late mark on a closed, {$0.00} balance account is materially misleading and harmful. 2. FCRA 607 ( b ) Consumer reports must maintain maximum possible accuracy.
