Subject : Complaint Regarding Misleading Lease Practices at AutoNation XXXX XXXX Dear XXXX Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally share my experience at AutoNation XXXX XXXX, which left me and my husband feeling misled and taken advantage of. During our recent visit, the dealership presented us with lease figures that did not align with XXXX XXXX XXXX official lease program guidelines or with the offer they had advertised. Specifically : The residual value quoted to us was significantly lower than the official XXXX residual for the same trim and term. As you know, residuals and money factors are set by XXXX and are consistent across all XXXX dealers. Despite my repeated requests ( both via email prior to the visit and again in person ) to see the official residual, money factor, and a transparent breakdown of incentives and equity, the dealership refused to provide that information. Instead, they used numbers that inflated the monthly payment and made the deal appear far worse than the official program would allow. This lack of transparency and refusal to share the official XXXX lease terms gave us the clear impression that the dealership was attempting to take advantage of us. We left feeling like AutoNation XXXX XXXX was trying to scam us, rather than work with us honestly. We know what the official XXXX XXXX XXXX numbers should have been, and we came prepared.
