I am a victim of identity theft. Fraudulent accounts remain on my credit report despite my requests to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to block them under FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ). I submitted my FTC Identity Theft Report, SSN, government ID, and proof of address. Federal law requires the credit bureaus to block identity theft accounts within 4 business days. No police report is needed. I request CFPB intervention to ensure immediate removal and investigate any FCRA violations. I demand written confirmation once resolved. This is a violation of my privacy with my consumer report, since I control what is listed and what is not. In the event that any accounts are reported without my written consent, that is considered identity theft. This is a violation of both 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( 2 ) and 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2.
