Around XXXX or XXXX i recived a letter claiming a debt was owed from ACI LLC for a paypal account for {$1900.00}. It was claimed this debt was owed since XX/XX/year>. However, I thought this letter may have been just a scam because it used a nickname I use online and not my actual legal name. An account number for the XXXX account was provided. However, XXXX accounts do not use account numbers. They are only identified by emails according to XXXX own FAQ. I have a XXXX account but only 1 and it is under my legal name. XXXX accounts require to be under your legal name and they dont allow multiple accounts to be held by a single person. My actual account is in good standing and never held a negative balance. I have not made any large purhases around XX/XX/year> or any in general even near the large debt listed of {$1900.00}. I had contacted paypal about this and they had me email a photo of the letter to their fraud department and i assumed they would take care of it. Evidently they did not since i am still getting texts about this debt that i dont owe. I forwarded XXXX text sent to me but XXXX has still not adressed this themselves. I went through XXXX since there are a lot of websites with the ACI LLC name. I am unable to tell which is the actual company website or which is fraudulent.
