On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a text message from IC Systems, a debt collection agency, in reference to an unpaid debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The notice was for a debt in the amount of {$650.00}. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and explained to them that I had not received any notice of an outstanding balance for services. I was advised that XXXX notices had been mailed to my home address and that I did not respond. I asked if they could stop the debt collection agency and let me arrange a payment plan with them, I was advised that was not possible. I was advised to contact IC Systems to arrange payment. I have since contacted IC Systems and made arrangements. I am filing a complaint because I did not receive notice, from the provider, of an outstanding balance. I do not know if other customers have made complaints about this situation but, I do feel it is wrong to the customer because forwarding debt to a collection agency can affect my credit score and credit history.
