I purchased an item from XXXX XXXX through Affirm, to be paid off in monthly installments, on XX/XX/XXXX. I canceled the item in accordance with XXXX XXXX cancellation/refund policy on XX/XX/XXXX. Based on tracking information, this item had not shipped. After sending the cancelation request, I was informed the product was on its way to the warehouse. Their cancellation policy allows cancelation prior to the item from from the warehouse. They refuse to honor my cancellation for a full refund and charged me around {$1000.00} in shipping costs plus 30 % of the product. I believe that I canceled the item in accordance with their policy and that what they charged me is excessive and unfair under XXXX law. I submitted a report to the FTC and XXXX AG ( I live in XXXX ). I then disputed the report with Affirm. Affirm informed me they would look at the evidence and make a decision. They then responded almost immediately that they are denying my dispute and I owe the amount. They refused to specify which evidence or legal standard was applied in making their decision.
