XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX DC XXXX Re : Formal Complaint Inaccurate Reporting of Late Payments in Violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681e To Whom It May Concern : I am filing this complaint regarding inaccurate and damaging reporting of late payments on my credit history. Pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681e of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), consumer reporting agencies are required to maintain reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy in the information they report. The late payment data being reported against me does not meet this standard and is therefore in direct violation of federal law. These false entries are materially harmful to my creditworthiness and have caused me financial injury. Since the law requires maximum accuracy, and these accounts are being reported inaccurately, I am demanding the removal of all late payment entries from my credit reports. For your review, I have attached copies of the credit reports showing the incorrect late payment entries. I request that the CFPB immediately investigate this matter and take corrective action by compelling the credit bureaus to delete the all late payment records.
