About 6 years ago I discovered that I was a victim of identity theft. I had to find that somebody unknown to me has used my personal information in order to open an account under my name without my consent/permission for the following companies : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to name a few. At the time, I filed a police report, and I also filed a report with ( identitytheft.gov ) for FTC complaint. I sent a copy to all of the original creditors, and I also sent a copy to all the three major credit reporting agencies. XXXX and XXXX have removed all the unauthorized accounts. Experian, as of today, is showing that both XXXX and XXXX XXXX as a CHARGED OFF. XXXX was removed from Experian for a period of 2-3 years. Recently I received a summons for XXXX XXXX which made me hire a company and I had to pay them over a few thousand dollars in order to take care of this matter for me. All i received was a letter from XXXX that they have done their investigation on my identity theft and that they did not find anything.
