Consumer Narrative

In XX/XX/XXXX I submitted written disputes on XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card accounts and requested account-level documentation. Shortly afterward, XXXX XXXX closed all three of my accounts ( including XXXX I had not disputed ) and sent a letter stating I was removed from any future business ( by name, phone, and email ). XXXX XXXX initial written response stated only that the accounts were opened online or by phone, without specifying which and without dates, applications, or signed agreements. ( Exhibit XXXX shows XXXX XXXX written response denying the existence of contracts for these accounts. ) After I disputed through the credit bureaus, XXXX XXXX sent XXXX generic, non-account-specific cardholder agreement and monthly statements ( Exhibits XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). Months later they began asserting an application date, but no application or signed contract has ever been produced despite multiple disputes. Meanwhile, XXXX XXXX furnishing has been inconsistent : statuses toggled between disputed and resolved, fees and interest continued to accrue, and the tradelines later progressed to charge-off / profit & loss. My scores dropped from XXXX into the low XXXX. The credit bureaus verified these accounts despite lacking any actual validation from XXXX XXXX ( Equifax, XXXX pp. XXXX, and XXXX pp XXXX XXXX ). I also include Exhibit XXXX ( Removed from Future Business Letter ) documenting XXXX XXXX decision to end all customer relationships with me, a Closing Letter dated XX/XX/XXXX showing the end of my prior attempts to resolve this directly, and Exhibit XXXX ( Account Closures ) showing the closures were inconsistent with typical customer notices. XXXX XXXX has failed to provide proper validation yet continues to furnish contradictory and damaging information to the credit bureaus. This entire escalation could have been avoided had XXXX XXXX simply validated the accounts in response to my disputes, rather than closing them and continuing to report inconsistent information.
