Bethpage Federal Credit Union changed their name to FourLeaf FCU and emailed us that they will not be able to collect any mortgage payments during their transition for 60 days and we should be able to make the monthly mortgage payments without any penalties. Now when I try to make a payment online, I just get a blank page ; I tried calling them multiple times but the call stays on hold for more than an hour until it got connected once and the person whom I spoke to said XXXX transfer me to customer service only to get disconnected again. Im currently traveling out of the country and had to make these long international phone calls that cost me a lot of money because they want to speak to the account holder. Then I asked my wife to call them locally, and she got the same response. The banks number is XXXX, please try calling that number for the mortgage payment you will know what I mean. The bank has also stopped access to the page where we can make a payment. I sent my daughter physically to the bank with a check to pay off the mortgage loan balance, I have just 2 months of payment left. My wife and daughter also told them to take the money out of my usual account from which the payments were regularly scheduled until they transitioned and it stopped working ; they said they can not do it. When asked to enable the page on their website so we can make the payment ourselves they said they can not do it because of their transition and asked us to wait till XXXX. In the meantime they sent us foreclosure letters and big packets of letters from debt collection agencies. It looks like theyre buying time and making every effort to fraudulently get us into foreclosure or some serious problems. I would appreciate if someone can investigate into this bank fraud tactics and bring justice to all. Im sure there will be many more people affected by this banks fraud tactics scam/fraud activities.
