I am submitting this complaint regarding Ally Banks repeated and unauthorized re-processing of previously canceled transactions on my account. These transactions have been marked as canceled since XX/XX/year>, yet Ally continues to process them monthly. I have documented this through dated screenshots each month. This conduct has caused direct financial harm, including the cancellation of a payment catch-up plan I had in place to bring my account current. As a result, I am no longer in a position to maintain my vehicle payments. I have repeatedly requested that all communication be in writing via Allys secure message center for my legal protection, yet Ally representatives continue to insist on telephone calls. In prior CFPB complaints, I have noted this ongoing refusal to comply with my written communication requests. Due to Allys ongoing mishandling of my account and the interruption of my payment plan, I am now requesting to proceed with a voluntary surrender of my vehicle on or about XX/XX/year>. I am requesting Allys cooperation to accept this vehicle as payment in full, with no deficiency balance, as the situation is a direct result of Allys improper transaction handling. I have extensive written and photographic documentation of the repeated unauthorized transaction processing, Allys refusal to act upon my secure messages, and the harm caused.
