XX/XX/XXXX : I mailed a notarized, certified dispute to Experian requesting a full reinvestigation of several inaccurate tradelines and for typed results by USPS mail. Experian received it that day ( proof attached ). By XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( 60+ days later ) : I never received any mailed results. Under the FCRA, items that are inaccurate, incomplete, or can not be verified must be deleted if the CRA doesnt complete and mail results within 30 days ( limited extension only if the consumer supplies new info; I did not ). Pattern of misreporting ( key example XXXX XXXX auto ) : My records : Last payment XX/XX/XXXX ; account repossessed/closed XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Experian : still reported Foreclosure and 90+ days late every month XXXX XXXX XXXX and carried a balance. XXXX : shows F ( foreclosure ) flags in the grid and Last Activity XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX : shows repossession only, no new late codes after XX/XX/XXXX, and Last Activity XX/XX/XXXX. This mix of foreclosure coding on a repossession, continued monthly delinquency after repo/charge-off, and conflicting Last Activity dates demonstrates inaccuracy and re-aging. Because the 7-year clock runs from the DOFD, not Last Activity, I demand XXXX certification and the Metro-2 FCRA Compliance/DOFD field used . Other items : XXXX XXXX & XXXX : debts were canceled ( 1099-C ), yet Experian showed monthly charge-offs/back-dating for a long period ; XXXX XXXXXXXX was later deleted only after repeated complaints. XXXX XXXX : Experian shows a XX/XX/XXXX late that did not occur. Credit denials ( actual harm ) : XX/XX/XXXX : two credit denials from a XXXX XXXX XXXX citing serious delinquency/number of delinquent accounts ( letters attached ). XX/XX/XXXXXXXX : mortgage deniallender cited negative report entries ( repo/foreclosure, collections, delinquencies, utilization, inquiries ) and asked for proof of errors for reconsideration. An auto-loan was also denied. Access & arbitration pressure : Instead of mailing results, Experian sent online portal notices and pushed me to dispute online, which requires agreeing to arbitration. I already opted out and want my dispute handled by mail. Follow-up call ( XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ) : Representative refused to help without a report number, even though I disputed by USPS and requested USPS responses . Bottom line : Experian did not mail reinvestigation results within the FCRA deadline ; the disputed items remain inaccurate or unverifiable ; and the misreporting has directly caused credit denials ( mortgage, auto, and cards ). I ask the CFPB to require deletion/correction and to obtain Experians procedural proof. Substantiation requested ( mailed, typed ) : deficiency calculation ( sale date/price, credits, fees ) + UCC XXXX notices with proof ; sale/assignment details ( set XXXX to {$0.00} if sold ) ; any 1099-C/settlement ; DOFD certification ( no re-aging ) ; 1681e ( b ) procedural proof ( ACDV/ACDB name+version, record ID, ACDV copy ) ; XXXX ( b ) reinvestigation log ( dates, notices, responses ). If you can not substantiate, delete the tradeline and stop reporting a balance/foreclosure/monthly lates inconsistent with a repo and the verified DOFD.
