Solar Mosaic, Inc has charged my grandmother for an incomplete and no contract work. The agent that worked with them is from XXXX XXXX and never provided a contract to sign. We have asked and asked and even contacted the contractor whose " roommate '' had his phone and didn't know when he would return to ever contact us back. This entire thing is an elder scam and now they have placed a lien on the home to seize it. My grandmother has never signed a contract or agreed to any payments or even given a statement to begin making payments to anyone. She was supposed to be informed of all this and was constantly told she would be given a contract to sign when the roof was redone to provide a total cost to her after deductions of programs that would help pay the cost due to her elder age ( which NEVER happened ). The entire thing is a very clear indicator of elder abuse scams with the initial door to door salesman who offered incentives and programs with rebates, etc. then this work is done and told she needs to redo her roof ( which they so nicely provide as well ) and never provide any contracts to sign or official paperwork with an account number. Then she gets a notice in the mail saying her property is going to be seized along with another debt collection agency charging over {$35000.00} due to non-payments.
