On XX/XX/year> I submitted a CFPB complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX a debt collection agency who is hired to collect outstanding medical debt. In this a complaint I specifically stated that medical debts are not supposed to be furnished on credit reports and following that issued a direct 'cease and desist ' to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . The issue of the matter lies with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX behavior in response to my complaint. In or around XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX XXXX side stepped my legal assertion of ceasing collection activities, a statute that is legally allowed to be enforced under section XXXX ( c ) - ceasing communications under the FDCPA. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX insistingly stated that it would collect the purported debts owed and provided me an address in case I wanted to dispute account inaccuracies violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as a result. There was no acknowledgement of the problems that I mentioned in the complaint or cease and desist notice that was issued to them. As a result, I am forced to endure undue stress and frustration for the disregard of obvious legal rights that the agency should have known to be valid and honoring such request. Instead of honoring my request and heeding my warning, XXXX took that moment to defend themselves and prove the validity of their company 's existence and right to collect stating that they weren't breaking laws and will collect on behalf of the creditor that hired them.
