XX/XX/XXXX To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint against Affirm Inc. for failing to properly investigate an unauthorized loan and for misrepresenting the status of the investigation to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( XXXX ). SUMMARY OF ISSUES : - On XX/XX/XXXX, Affirm emailed me stating that my request was still under review by their Account Safety team. - I never confirmed any resolution, nor did I complete the affidavit required for their investigation. - Despite this, Affirm responded to my previous CFPB complaint claiming that the account was verified and accurate. - This contradicts their own communication to me and violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( XXXX ) requirements for complete and accurate investigations.
