I am submitting this complaint against Experian due to its continued failure to remove inaccurate and unverifiable information from my credit report, despite multiple dispute attempts. This is now my third attempt to resolve these errors, which are negatively impacting my credit profile. Experian is reporting two addresses that are completely incorrect and have no association with me : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, LA XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX XXXX I have never lived at either of these addresses, nor have I authorized their inclusion in my credit file. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 602 ( a ) and 607 ( b ), consumer reporting agencies are required to maintain accurate information and follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy. Despite my disputes, Experian has failed to verify the legitimacy of these addresses or remove them, which I believe is a violation of these provisions. Additionally, Experian continues to report a late payment on an account with XXXX XXXX ( # XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), even though the account reflects a {$0.00} balance. This contradiction suggests an error in the way the payment history is being reported. Experians pattern of negligence in handling my disputes, failure to remove unverifiable and harmful data, and refusal to adhere to its legal obligations under the FCRA has caused ongoing damage to my financial health. I respectfully request that the CFPB investigate this matter thoroughly and require Experian to remove all inaccurate addresses, late payments, and unauthorized inquiries from my credit report. I also request that Experian be held accountable for noncompliance with federal consumer protection laws.
