XX/XX/XXXX, myself and best friend were misled by XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX, as he repeatedly told me that he was selling authentic collectible toys called XXXX, I bought for my daughter for her birthday using cash app. Less than an hour later I discovered they were counterfeit. I called him to try to get my money back and he insisted that he would speak with his supplier and get back with me. He instead blocked me. I filed a police report, FTC complaint, customs complaint, and my states attorney general complaint. I submitted all of the evidence to cash app and pleaded for a thorough investigation and refund of my money, less than XXXX days later, cash app denied my refund request with no further communication.
