I am experiencing serious issues with Bright Money that are negatively impacting my credit. I sent multiple emails to Bright Money requesting to close my account when my balance was {$0.00}. Despite this, my account remains active, and a {$7.00} balance appeared without explanation after my closure request. I never authorized this charge, and it should not exist. Now, Bright Money is reporting my account as delinquent to the credit bureaus, which has harmed my credit score. I have tried to contact them repeatedly via email and phone to resolve this matter. Emails go unanswered, and their phone system only routes to automated bots without an option to speak to a live agent. Bright Money did respond once with instructions to close my account, but I can not log in to follow those steps.
