Consumer Narrative

I am filing this complaint regarding Johnson Mark LLCs collection practices involving two active lawsuits they filed against me in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Case # XXXX and Case # XXXX ). I have made multiple good faith efforts to validate and resolve the matter. On XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/year>, I sent emails to XXXX, each including a formal request for debt validation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692g ) along with a written settlement offer. I have delivery and read receipt tracking showing that all three emails were delivered, but each one was deleted without being opened. I also sent a certified letter, which was delivered on XX/XX/year>, repeating my request for validation and settlement. That letter was ignored as well. This debt originated with XXXX XXXX XXXX, was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and is now being collected through legal action by Johnson Mark LLC. Despite these documented attempts, Johnson Mark LLC has continued collection efforts, including repeated process server visits to my home. As of today, there have been six separate attempts to serve me, including one on Sunday morning, XX/XX/year> at XXXX XXXX. I consider this unnecessarily aggressive and harassing. Each visit has been verified through our video doorbell system. At no point has Johnson Mark LLC provided any validation of the alleged debt or responded to my communications. I believe Johnson Mark LLC is violating the FDCPA by continuing legal and collection activity without first validating the debt, and by ignoring multiple reasonable attempts to resolve the matter. I respectfully request an investigation into their conduct and immediate action to stop further collection efforts until they comply with applicable consumer protection laws. In addition, during one of the recent process server visits, I noticed that a rock had been placed under the back tire of my vehicle. I did not put it there, and I have reason to believe it may have been left by the process server. This was disturbing and felt intrusive, as it suggests an attempt to monitor or mark my vehicles position. While I understand the process of legal service, I believe this action crossed a line and further contributes to the stress and feeling of being harassed in my own home.
