I had a cash app account that I had lost access to back in XXXX of XXXX due to XXXX XXXX my abuser took my over my accounts and made purchases and took money unauthorizedI ended up make a new cash app which was the account I always used. I had contacted cash app about the compromised account so it could be closed and provided police report details at that time too. I thought it had been taken care of until I got the settlement notification that a deposit of {$280.00} had been posted to the old cash app account with the old email address XXXX I contacted support and they helped get access to the account and it showed there had been a negative balance and my deposit was used for the negative balance. I told them this account had been reported and I wanted my deposit sent to my cash app account ( the new one I had been using ) and they said I needed to contact the merchant who made the depositwhich in turn they said cash app could only fix my issue because it had posted to the account. I tried contacted cash app support with no remedy even with all the evidence at hand then suddenly they closed out the account I was using supposedly because I used it for gambling and closed out the old account as well this was after I threaten to report them because they took my money and had not addressed my account issues in XXXX.
