I received a phone call and subsequently mail at my new address ( how they obtained that private information is beyond me ) from Jefferson Capital, where theyre trying to get me to pay for a XXXX XXXX that doesnt make any sense. Ive never opened an account with XXXX. It seems entirely like a scam, but how they obtained my information to contact me is also worrisome. I am also in the process of filing a police report against them.
