I am filing this complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for their failure to respond to a lawful dispute of a collection account that is currently being reported to the credit bureaus. I mailed a formal dispute to their address regarding the accuracy and validity of the account in question. The dispute was sent via certified mail and delivered on XX/XX/year>2025, as verified by the stamped return receipt which I am uploading as evidence with this complaint. As of the date of this filing, more than 30 days have passed and I have not received any response, investigation results, or notice of reinsertion as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681i. This is a clear violation of my rights under federal law. According to the FCRA, a furnisher of information is obligated to : 1. Conduct a reasonable investigation upon receipt of a consumer dispute. 2. Notify the consumer of the results of that investigation within 30 days. 3. Delete inaccurate, unverified, or non-responded information from the consumers credit file. Because XXXX XXXX/ XXXX failed to respond at all within the required timeframe, the collection account must be immediately removed from my credit reports with all three major credit bureaus : XXXX, Equifax, and XXXX. I am demanding immediate investigation and deletion of this account from all credit reporting systems. Their non-compliance not only violates federal law but has also caused ongoing harm to my creditworthiness and access to financial opportunities.
