I am filing this complaint under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15U.S.C. 1681 ). I believe that companies and third party company 's accessed or reported information to credit reporting agencies without my consent or permissible purpose ( 1681b ). This led to inaccurate and negative entries on my credit report. When I applied for a car loan on my application was denied ( or I was offered significantly less favorable terms ). This constitutes an adverse action under 1681a ( k ). I timely disputed the entry via ALL CRA 's dispute process under 1681i, but the information was neither corrected nor removed within 30 days. I was not informed if the furnisher certified the accuracy of the disputed item. As a result, I have suffered actual harm : denial of credit, increased cost of borrowing, and damage to my credit score. I respectfully request CFPB to investigate and direct appropriate remedial actions, including removal of the erroneous entries and enforcement of FCRA compliance
