I am submitting this complaint regarding a XXXX account, which is being reported inaccurately and inconsistently by Experian and Equifax. Despite prior disputes, the bureaus have failed to correct the errors and continue to verify incorrect and conflicting information, in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). FCRA Violations : 1. FCRA 607 ( b ) [ 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) ] - Credit bureaus must report information with maximum possible accuracy. The different Date Last Active clearly violate this requirement. 2. FCRA 611 [ 15 U.S.C. 1681i ] - When a consumer disputes information, the credit bureaus must conduct a reasonable reinvestigation. Their refusal to correct or reconcile these BLATANT discrepancies after several disputes proves they have not fulfilled this duty.
