Subject : Remove these inquiries I dont recognize Identity Theft and Errors on My Experian Report Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), Remove these credit inquiries from my Experian report because I dont recognize them. I didnt authorize them, I didnt apply for any credit with those companies, and they were added by mistake. I am a victim of identity theft, and someone else used my information without my permission. These inquiries are unfair and are hurting my credit and my peace of mind. Im asking for your help so Experian can delete them as soon as possible. Unauthorized inquiries Experian is reporting : XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX ) Laws being violated : 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( f ) : No one can access my credit report without my permission. 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 : Once I report identity theft and submit proof, Experian must block this information within 4 business days. 15 U.S.C. 1681a ( 4 ) : My private personal information can not be shared without my consent. Im including with this complaint : My FTC Identity Theft Report A copy of my ID A proof of address What Im asking for : That Experian removes those inquiries right away That they confirm these wont hurt my credit anymore That they explain why those inquiries were allowed without my permission Thank you for helping me fix these mistakes. This is affecting me a lot, and I just want my credit report to be clean and accurate.
