Subject : Unlawful Reinsertion of Deleted Account FCRA Violation Dear Equifax, I am writing to dispute the reinsertion of the following account into my credit file : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Account is fraudulent as it was opened when I was a minor XXXX XXXX # XXXX Account is fraudulent as it was opened when I was a minor This account was previously deleted after your investigation confirmed I was a XXXX when it was opened, and therefore could not have legally entered into such an agreement. Now it has been reinserted without any notice, in violation of FCRA Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ). Under this law, a credit bureau must notify me in writing within 5 business days of reinsertion and confirm the accounts accuracy with the furnisher. I received no such notice. I request the immediate deletion of this account and written confirmation. Please also provide the name and contact details of the furnisher who certified the reinsertion, if applicable. Failure to comply may result in complaints to the CFPB, FTC, and legal action.
