Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 6 ) ( B ) ( iii ), I am legally entitled to a detailed description of how your investigation was conducted, including : 1. The method of verification you used, 2. The name, address, and phone number of the party who verified the account, and 3. Proof that a reasonable investigation occurred. If you are unable to provide this information within four ( 4 ) calendar days of receipt of this letter, you must immediately delete the disputed account from my credit file. Failure to comply is a violation of the FCRA and may result in formal complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and civil legal action. This is a time-sensitive matter.
