After my dispute, Westlake changed or updated the payment history they had previously furnished, which proves they had been reporting inaccurate information about this account. Despite this, Westlake has not provided me with proper debt validation or documentation showing this account belongs to me ( such as a signed contract or detailed payment history ). This inaccurate reporting harmed my credit score and history. I am requesting the CFPB to require Westlake to : - Provide full validation of the account directly to me ; or - Remove/delete this account from my credit reports if they can not provide proper documentation.
