I opened a secured credit card with Capital One in XX/XX/XXXX with a {$200.00} refundable deposit. The account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX. According to my CreditWise/XXXX credit report, the account is listed as Closed, Paid, {$0.00} Balance. After paying off the balance, I never received my {$200.00} security deposit back. I contacted Capital One and spoke to a supervisor named XXXX ( Employee ID : XXXX ), who told me they could not locate any record of my account, despite me providing full details and showing my credit report. Capital One says they exhausted all search methods and couldnt help. I believe Im owed either a refund or documentation explaining what happened to my deposit.
