We attempted to make payments on three different monthly occasions and each payment was rejected. The mortgage company never explained why the rejections took place nor provided us once requested a loan modification or forbearance cure default. We spoke with the Department of Veterans Affairs concerning this issue and was told that the mortgage company should take and apply our payments and provide us assistance to cure this issue without moving to any type of foreclosure action. We made several attempts to request help under our contract towards a forbearance, since our delinquency was due to the Trump Administration 's illegal actions to terminate our federal employment as vested employees over 20 years of service. Since XXXX we communicated with Village Capital & Investments and received no support. As of this date, we now know we were allowed to retire per court decision, but any retirement funds or 401k funds will not be complete for 4 to 6 months from XX/XX/XXXX. We communicated every step of the way as both veteran, and federal workers we demand fair treatment and support to cure this issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, we attempted to make payments that were not allowed without explanation. None of this was our fault and due to the nature of this governments actions we are struggling to save our investment. We will make every effort to save my VA benefits.
