Despite meeting that threshold, I have never received a 1099-C, and my IRS transcript reflects no record of XXXX being filed. I am requesting that the furnisher provide the following : Full validation of the account, including the exact timeline and amount charged off A copy of any 1099-C issued or filed If the furnisher can not provide these documents and confirm compliance with federal credit and tax laws, I request that the charge-off be immediately removed from my credit report. Furthermore, if the debt was previously canceled and later collected without proper disclosure or tax documentation, I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid.
