My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I am filing a formal complaint against Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion for knowingly reporting inaccurate, unverifiable, and misleading late payment information in violation of multiple sections of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Metro 2 compliance standards. My credit reports reflect 30-, 60-, and 90-day late payments across multiple accounts, including : These late payments are unverifiable, inaccurate, and in some cases obsolete, and no creditor has produced the original contract, billing records, or any documentation in compliance with FCRA 609 ( a ) ( 1 ). My written disputes went unanswered or were marked as " verified '' without any actual reinvestigation, in violation of FCRA 611. Additionally, accounts in dispute were not coded as 'XXXX ' per Metro 2 compliance, and some closed accounts are being updated with new derogatory datawhich is strictly prohibited under Metro 2 reporting guidelines. Here are the specific FCRA violations : 605 ( a ) : Obsolete information ( over 7 years ) is still being reported 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) : No proof or contracts provided upon request 611 : Failure to reinvestigate and delete unverified information 623 : Furnishers failed to notify bureaus of corrections or disputes 616 & 617 : Civil liability for willful and negligent noncompliance Furthermore, late payments are being reported that were not a full 30 days late, violating Metro 2 guidelines. This is deceptive, damaging, and unlawful. I am requesting : Immediate removal of all unverifiable and inaccurate late payments from all three credit bureaus. Full documentation showing verification of each tradeline or confirmation of deletion. Disciplinary review of the reporting practices of these CRAs and data furnishers. These violations have caused financial harm, loss of opportunity, and emotional distress. If not resolved, I will escalate legally and file formal complaints with the FTC, state attorney general, and seek civil damages under FCRA 616 & 617.
