To whom it may concern : I am writing to dispute and demand removal of the following inaccurate tradeline from my credit report : Federal Department of Education / XXXX Student Loan ( Account # XXXX ) This account was closed by XXXX XXXX on [ date of closure ], and I never signed any agreement to reopen it with XXXX. It should not appear as an open or active tradeline on my credit report. Under FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ), you must complete a reasonable investigation of my dispute within 30 days and delete any information you can not verify. Under FCRA 607 ( b ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) ), you are required to employ reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy. If XXXX or the Department of Education can not confirm this tradelines validityand they can not, since I never authorized its reopeningyou are obliged to remove it. Please send me written confirmation when this tradeline has been permanently removed, along with a free, updated copy of my credit report, as provided under FCRA 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681g ( a ) ( 1 ) ).
