I signed a gym membership in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and made the representative, XXXX, fully aware that we location was only temporarily so we would not be using gym services long. He showed me a relocation clause before signing and told me we would just need to email with residency documentation when we relocated to cancel early. We got 2 months free and paid the first month up front which made the next due date XX/XX/XXXX. We move back out of the area later in XXXX. Cancellation request and documentation first sent XX/XX/XXXX which was over 30 days from the next due date as required by our contract. Emailed again in XXXX 3 times. A gym representative responded to our email so everything was sent to the right email each time. They have Continued to bill me and send me to collections and report collection to my credit! Attached is a copy of the contract with the relocation and cancellation clause. Attached is my original written request with proof of residency.
