A tree fell my car causing it to not run anymore so i couldn't get it fixed and make the payment so i told them to come get it they sold the care at the auction and sold the remaining balance to XXXX XXXX and placed it on my credit but i don't understand if they sold the car why sale my in formation to a third party and place on my credit. the car loan is closed on my credit from Santander which was closed XX/XX/year> so why is there a balance from another company if its closed
