I received a hard credit inquiry from XXXX XXXX I never requested or did anything to authorize ANY sort of credit pull. I have had a XXXX XXXX since XXXX that has been largely inactive. I did some reasearch and called XXXX. They apologized and said, " yes this happened to a large portion of our customers when we transitioned our credit to XXXX XXXX ''. I Confirmed was this supposed to happen without my authorization and they said no. When I asked for this in writing they would not provide me anything. I would like this hard inquiry removed from my credit report. I have had this account open since XXXX with no problems. Then out of nowhere I got a hard inquiry from XXXX XXXX without any authorization whatsoever from them requesting and me giving my authorization for them to pull my credit. This is extremely frustrating and do alot of protect my credit. Not to mention considering the fact that this unknown pull first could appear as some sort of fraud and cause drastic reaction. I have identified the pertitrators and according to message boards online this same situation happened to XXXX and XXXX of people.
