HARRIS AND HARRIS have repeatedly violated the ( FDCPA ) Fair Debt Collections Practices Act at the federal level and how now violated the ( MDCPA ) Maryland Debt Collections Practices Act at the state level because I am a Maryland resident who works in Washington , DC. This debt collector refuses to send me written communications to support their debt collections actions and instead has used every communication attempt outside of written communication to collect payments. They went from sending text messages to now calling me over the phone and when requested information in writing to validate the debt when they text me they instead chose to start calling me in an attempt to collect a payment. I have not received anything in writing from this debt collector and now they have proceeded to calling me without my consent even though I have requested information in writing via text message to validate the debt.
