I previously disputed a charged-off account reported by XXXX XXXX XXXX on my Experian credit report. The account shows a balance of {$9400.00} and was charged off in XXXX. Experian claimed the account was verified as accurate after my initial dispute. In response, I sent a certified debt validation request directly to XXXX XXXX XXXX asking them to verify the validity and accuracy of the debt under the FDCPA. Instead of sending documentation or verification, XXXX responded with a cease and desist request and did not validate the account or provide any proof of the debt. Despite this, the account remains on my Experian credit report as a charge-off, and no further action has been taken to correct or remove it. This is a violation of my rights under the FCRA and FDCPA. A debt that can not be verified should not be reported or verified as accurate. I am requesting immediate deletion of this account and a full explanation of how the account was verified, by whom, and with what documentation.
