XXXX represents itself as an online payment platform ( wallet ) with access to pay vendors and receive payments through its platform. While I don't run a business through XXXX, I have sold a few office items utilizing the XXXX platform online. When trying to redeem my cash on account I was directed to their cell phone app. After several back-and-forth e-mails, requesting they credit my credit card or mail me a check, and explaining that I don't conduct monetary transactions on my cell phone for security reasons, I received the email below. I'm not going to disrupt my systems, at the advice of my security professional, to accommodate what I believe is a gap in XXXX XXXX platform. While I don't believe XXXX is inherently a fraudulent platform, I do think they need to provide access to their promoted and advertised services from all access points. Not to do so is misleading, misrepresentation if not somewhat fraudulent in restricting trade after the fact I still have money frozen 'on account ' with them. Any assistance would be appreciated.
