On XX/XX/year>, I borrowed an amount of {$870.00} from Three Sticks Lending. An amount of {$230.00} was automatically withdrawn from my account as agreed on XX/XX/year> and on XX/XX/year>. On XX/XX/year>, I called the location that morning at XXXX XXXX to find out what the balance to pay it off was at that time. The agent told me that is was {$860.00} and some change. So, at that time, from a starting amount of {$870.00} and two automatic payments totaling {$460.00} only approximately {$7.00} was taken off the entire balance. The rest of it was a predatory amount of interest of {$460.00} accrued from of 36 days from the beginning of the loan. I called back later that day at XXXXXXXX XXXX and I just wanted to pay off the entire balance to get out of this terrible loan. The agent told me that on XX/XX/year>XXXX another payment of {$230.00} would be automatically withdrawn. I asked her if she could add the rest of the balance to pay it off that day instead. She told me that I could set up a payment for the rest of the balance on XX/XX/year>, but it would be something like {$770.00} or $ XXXX-I was honestly so flabbergasted at the moment that I couldn't remember what it was. I told her that I just wanted to pay off what they had told me earlier that day, but she said that wouldn't be able to to do. So, if I had agreed to that, approximately {$1000.00} would have been paid from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. That means that for a loan life of about XXXX days, they would have collected something like $ XXXX in interested. Today, XX/XX/year>, I sent them a cashier 's check in the amount of {$170.00} via certified letter, telling them that I would no longer make payments or grant access to my bank account. The total of the three payments of {$230.00} and the {$170.00} cashier 's check equals a total of {$870.00} paid. So the loan is paid off. I will not pay an exorbitant 800 % ish interest. I want it known that I am done paying the loan and for them to not be able to do this to others.
