On XX/XX/year>, I made a purchase from XXXX for some electronics for my Business using my debit card linked to my Current Bank checking account. The package was marked as delivered by XXXX on XX/XX/year>, and claimed to be signed for by me. However, myself nor anyone in my household never received the merchandise, nor did myself or anyone in my household did not sign for any delivery. XXXX submitted a proof of delivery to my bank that only included a typed version of my name not an actual signature, delivery photo, or GPS confirmation. That is not valid proof that I received the goods. I contacted both XXXX and Current Bank XXXX XXXX this. XXXX stood by the delivery status, and Current closed my dispute based on the typed name alone. This ignores the standard consumer protections outlined in the Fair Credit Billing Act and Electronic Fund Transfer Act, which place the burden on the merchant to show the consumer actually received the items.
